From Part-Time Hustle to Full-Time Fun
What started as a small side project quickly grew into something far bigger. I made the leap from my job to follow a creative passion, enrolling in design studies at university. At the same time, I began hiring out a sweet cart to friends and at local events—purely for fun at first.
There was no grand business plan behind it, just a genuine love for colour, design, and the way sweets bring people together. That simple cart turned out to be the unexpected start of a journey I never imagined.
Design, Printing, and a Love for Colour
While studying design, I became fascinated with the world of printing. That curiosity eventually drew me towards horticulture, deepening my appreciation for colour, texture, and presentation.
I began to see connections everywhere — in the arrangement of flowers, the print on packaging, and the way displays could shape how people feel. Whether it was a steaming cup of mulled wine or the charm of a mulled wine cart at an event, I noticed how design could transform even the simplest things into something special.
That’s when the excitement really took hold — not just with mulled wine, but with creating branded experiences that feel joyful, memorable, and visually striking.
Mulled wine carts, Snacks and Events With Personality
Today, this has grown into so much more than a simple hire service. I’ve built a business centred on branded mulled wine carts, popcorn machines, candy floss carts, and custom packaging for corporate events, exhibitions, and office parties.
Every detail is approached with a design-led mindset—from flavourful, colour-coordinated mulled wine to custom vinyl branding and matching cups or sleeves. I work closely with each client to make sure everything looks, feels, and tastes perfect for their event.
Still Small, Still Personal
I’m still personally involved in every booking. I select the mulled wine, prepare the packaging, design the layouts, and often deliver and set up the carts myself. This business is built on care, creativity, and colour — and I approach every event as if it were my own.
